A deceptively simple stacking band that tapers down to a soft knife’s edge at four points – inner edge, outer edge, and top and bottom. Cast in rich 18k yellow gold. Many lifetimes of wear and patina are preserved in the irregular, crumbly texture of the band. A smooth finish at the innermost rounded edge makes this an incredibly comfortable ring. Measures about 2.4mm wide and 2.4mm thick.

Like the other bands in this collection, this ring is cast in precious gold from an ancient  relic. Found along a Celtic trading route in the Balkans, it may have been used for a variety of purposes, from strap fastening to a form of proto currency.
