A 2.38ct pale minty blue-green sapphire, irregularly and expertly hand-cut by the inimitable art lapidary, Jean-Noel Soni. The stone contains both raw and polished facets, and seems to bend and breath in the light, as the stone flashes from almost clear, to a light mint green, to the palest of blues. I hand-carved this wax to play with the contours of the stone, tilting the sunny 18k yellow gold slightly up at one end, and lifting from a smooth, comfortably flat band into a chunky flush setting. A super wearable, and I hope timeless, sculptural heirloom. One of a kind.
