These lovely disc earrings carry the history of the Spratling taller. Using a traditional method, the earrings are forged from thick sheets of fine sterling (tests above 925 purity), using the workshop's original troqueles (die/stamps). A true ode to alchemy! The earrings look seamless when worn, and transition elegantly from day to night. Chunky and substantial, yet the weight feels evenly distributed on the lobes, making these earrings quite comfortable. This design was introduced into William Spratling's catalogue when the taller and shop were up and running, around the 1940's.
